 Return Window

We offer a 30-day return policy, which means you have 30 days from the date of delivery to request a return.


 Return Eligibility

To be eligible for a return:

  • Items must be unused, in their original packaging, and in resaleable condition

  • You must include a receipt or proof of purchase

  • Returns must be approved before being sent back

To request a return, contact us at sales@coffeenerd.com.au. If approved, we’ll provide return instructions. Items returned without prior approval may not be accepted.

Returns for change of mind are reviewed on a case-by-case basis. In some cases, a small restocking or admin fee may apply, which will be communicated before approval.


📦 Damaged or Incorrect Items

If your order arrives damaged or incorrect, please contact us at sales@coffeenerd.com.au within 7 days of delivery. We’ll assess the issue and offer a suitable resolution.


🚫 Non-Returnable Items

The following items are not eligible for return:

  • Opened or used products

  • Coffee beans or other perishable items

  • Gift cards

  • Clearance or final-sale items

If you’re unsure whether your item is eligible, feel free to contact us before purchasing.


🔁 Exchanges

If you'd like to exchange an item, we recommend returning the original item (if eligible) and placing a new order once the return is accepted.


🚚 Return Shipping Costs

If the return is due to a change of mind, the customer is responsible for covering the return shipping costs.
If the return is due to an error on our part (e.g., a damaged, defective, or incorrect item), we will cover the cost of return shipping.

Return shipping method and cost will be discussed with you during the return authorisation process.


📮 Where to Send Returns

Return instructions will be provided once your request is approved.

Please include your order number and note explaining a request for refund or exchange.

Failure to include these details means we cannot process your return.

💰 Refunds

Once your return is received and inspected, we’ll notify you of the outcome. If approved:

  • Refunds will be processed to your original payment method

  • Refunds are typically processed within 7 business days of receiving your return

  • Your bank or credit card provider may take additional time to post the refund

Payment Disputes
We always encourage customers to contact us first so we can assist. Lodging a chargeback does not pause courier investigations or change delivery outcomes and may delay resolution while the dispute is reviewed by the payment provider.


Warranty

Within 6 months of purchase
If an issue arises within the first 6 months, please contact us. All cases are reviewed individually and, where a fault is identified, we’ll work with you to find a fair outcome.

After 6 months
Due to the nature of use use, normal wear and tear can occur over time. For this reason, we’re generally unable to accept returns or take responsibility for issues that arise after 6 months.
